How We Got Started and Where We Are Today
To the Residents of the Towns of Concord, Farmington, Jefferson, Sullivan and the Village of Sullivan:
residence to hospital, nursing home to hospital and hospital to nursing home.  This new avenue allows Sullivan EMS to provide a
comprehensive service for our residents and the members of surrounding communities.

The Inter-facility Transports business has doubled in calls for the past year.  If you need the inter-facility service, please call 1(877)593-2235
toll-free.  This goes directly to a cell phone which is answered by a live person.  The majority of our calls are to/from Bethesda Lutheran
Homes, Masonic Three Pillars, Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Rogers Memorial Hospital, Watertown Regional Medical Center, and many
other nursing homes and home residences. Our transport service is not limited to just local facilities.  If you are in need of a private
transport, please call the toll-free number for details.

2008 has been a year of change for Sullivan EMS.  Each municipality has a representative on the Commission.  This past July, Robert Becker
resigned his position with the Town of Farmington.  We would like to thank Robert Becker for this time, dedication, and support to Sullivan
EMS over the years.  Replacing Robert and representing the Town of Farmington is Dale Naatz.  We would like to welcome aboard Dale, and
we are looking forward to a good working relationship.

As our population continues to grow, we need to continue to grow.  The cost of maintaining and updating our equipment continues to
increase.  Our fleet of two ambulances and the different types of equipment we carry requires monthly maintenance and yearly testing and
inspections.  This insures that when needed in an emergency, our equipment will work properly.  The majority of this work is completed by
our dedicated volunteers; however, general operating expenses such as replacement of disposable supplies, fuel, technical repairs, service on
trucks and up-to-date training continues to rise.  Sullivan EMS  received the initial start-up financial support to cover the costs in 2004 and
since 2007 Sullivan EMS has been funded solely through donations and call revenue.

Sullivan EMS would like to thank the numerous individuals who continue to make donations or gifts to the service each year.  These generous
donations have helped the service to continue to provide the latest updated equipment and supplies for the EMTs to perform their jobs.  In
2007 Sullivan EMS provides CPR and/or First Aid training for our EMTs and the community members.  We provided this service to the bus
drivers and aids for the Jefferson Bus Service and Rome Fire Department.  Watch for details in the near future of training dates and locations.
We are able to provide training opportunities like this one for community members with your financial assistance.

Always remember you are welcome to come visit us at our station.  Give us a call and let us know when you would like to come.  Bring along
your children, grandchildren, or a friend, we would be glad to give you a tour and answer any questions you may have.  We are very proud of
the equipment and services we provide.  Please remember this is YOUR EMS.  Finally, like any volunteer organization, we are always looking
for new members.  If you would like more information on becoming an EMT, news and updates on Sullivan EMS give us a call at (262)
593-2235 or check us out on this website.  Download an application and send it to us. Classes start in August and January.  Thank you for
your support!

Sincerely,

Richard Heine
Sullivan EMS Chief
On behalf of Sullivan EMS, I would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You for the continued support of Sullivan
EMS.  As our communities grow, our emergency service needs to grow with you.  The number of calls for the years has
continued to increase.  Sullivan EMS is operated by 32 professional EMTs and covers over 80 square miles.  In 2004, we
started as a Basic EMS Service, and one year later in 2005, we upgraded our service to Intermediate Technical level.  In
November of 2007, we received another license upgrade to provide Inter-Facility Transfer Service from hospital to resident,
Human life is our top priority and service is our reason for existence
