Sullivan EMS holds its monthly trainings on the second Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. of every month.  The third Wednesday
night of the month at 6:30 p.m. is set as an Open Drill night.    Trainings that were offered by Sullivan EMS over the past
year included: CPR Refresher for everyone on the service; Mass Casualty Incident Training and Radio Communications;
Cardiac Rhythm and Cath Lab Procedures; Hypothermia; Blood Borne Pathogens/Decontamination; Skills Olympic/Advance
Skills; Burns; Splinting and Boarding; Water Rescue; Overdose; OB/GYN Problems and Pain Management.

Trainings planned for Sullivan EMS for January 2009 through September 2009 include Body Mechanics and Blood Borne Pathogens; Skills
Olympic/Advance Skills; Extrication; Triage and Radio Training; Mass Casualty Prep Work;Water Rescue; Helicopter Training and Safety; and
Respiratory and Cardiac Emergencies.
Besides members being trained internal by Sullivan EMS, members attend various
outside trainings that at provided by the local hospitals, conferences and
conventions.  Those members attending outside trainings to bring information back to
the members were: Mike Bahr, Ted Condon, Debbi Draeger, Ben Garrett, Maggie
Garrett, Mike Garrett, Kimberly Heine, Richard Heine, Trish Jones, Mike Kehoe, Neil
Matthes, Kelly Janz, Rocky Polster, Amy Ross, Curt Serdynski, Kami Warren, and
Steve Warren.

Training dollars available are based on crew time given on the schedule each month.
